At his news conference yesterday, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan meant that “not a narrow rod, but a common border will connect Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh,” Tigran Balayan, Press Secretary of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explained to NEWS.am.

At yesterday’s news conference, one of the journalists asked the following question: “Serzh Sargsyan’s election program clearly says that Nagorno-Karabakh must have a common border with Armenia. You, in turn, are speaking of a corridor. If any changes have taken place, why does not the Armenian public know anything?” Minister Nalbandyan answered that “a clear statement was made that there must be reliable communication between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Never imagine this communication – whether you call it a corridor – as a road. It is not so…” Nalbandyan also said that “when an agreement is reached, and the results can be published, you will be informed of the details.”
