YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia has approved the proposal for signing an agreement on air communication with Canada.

Head of the General Department of Civil Aviation, Sergey Avetisyan, presented this proposal at Thursday’s Cabinet session. 

In Avetisyan’s words, this agreement aims to introduce the principles of “open skies” policy, and ensure free competition for the airlines of both countries.

In addition, the signing of this agreement will contribute to the regulation of Armenia-Canada relations in air communication, and the development of tourism and economic relations between the two countries.
