Some Armenian generals will be dismissed in the near future, the Aravot newspaper writes. In particular, the matter concerns Assistant to the Defense Minister Hayk Kostanjyan who is presently 65 and cannot hold the post under the RA law.  

According to the newspaper, there are generals who are not permitted to hold the office due to age but they are still holding top posts. In particular, Chief of the General Staff Yuri Khachaturov, Assistant to the Defense Minister Gurgen Dalibaltayan, Assistant to the Defense Minister Muraze Sargsyan.
