On September 5, 2009 under preliminary data, gas explosion in a high rise building wounded seven people. According to Russian agencies, the blast destroyed three apartments, the panels between the basement beams were destructed. Under preliminary version the casual handling of gas appliance caused the blast.

Presently thirty two inhabitants are housed in the buses. The problem of providing them with lodging is being discussed. Expert commission will assess the state and damages of the construction. The investigation on the blast causes is conducted.
