At Tuesday’s assembly with voters in Kapan town, opposition Prosperous Armenia Party Chairman and businessman MP Gagik Tsarukyan, who heads Tsarukyan Bloc in the upcoming parliamentary election in the country, urged people not to succumb to pressure and threats of being fired from work.

First, Tsarukyan noted that they need not be afraid because their salaries are low, as it is. Second, he stated that the employer is intimidating his employees because he is afraid of losing his post.

Gagik Tsarukyan added that the superprofits from the molybdenum and copper industry in the region shall go to the people, whereas the latter are intimidated with threats of being fired from their jobs.

Subsequently, the head of Tsarukyan Bloc urged everyone to vote in the election.

The parliamentary election in Armenia will be conducted on April 2.
