YEREVAN. - Sustainable development of Armenia requires normalization of conflicts with its neighbors.
One of the leaders of Congress-PPA [i.e. People’s Party of Armenia], Stepan Demirchyan, who is the Chairman of the PPA, said the aforementioned at the rally held in Yerevan’s Liberty Square Wednesday. He also added that the conflicts should definitely be solved not at the expense of national dignity.
In his words, it is necessary to establish justice, carry out real struggle against corruption instead of its imitation, and punish all those guilty of the tragedies of October 27 and March 1.
“But the force, under whose governance the country is becoming empty, and poverty and foreign debt are growing, won’t do that.
“This crisis has to do with systematic usurpation of power. The Karabakh issue has always been speculated in order to shore up the power, which is unacceptable. But I am sure that our people will differentiate the real program from empty talks,” he said.
