YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 483.87/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is up by AMD 0.05 from Wednesday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 519.53 (down by AMD 2.51), that of one British pound was AMD 601.89 (up by AMD 0.36), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.59 (up by AMD 0.10) in the country.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 282.04, AMD 19,463.09 and AMD 14,825.61, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 484/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 484/$1.
