YEREVAN. – If there were no elections, tthe flow of investments might be bigger, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said.
Karapetyan, who is also first deputy chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, commented on the remark that the election period was inacive in terms of investment, but businessman Samvel Karapetyan and other entrepreneurs living in Russia announced they would make investments.
In response Karapetyan explained that the election period was not active in terms of investment not in Armenia only, but in all countries.
He noted that before launching investors' club they announced the start of a program with total amount of around $ 3.2 billion, and $840 million out of the amount will be invested this year.
