There is no “Lavrov plan” for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, only collective proposals of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs - Russia, the United States and France - are being discussed, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“More precisely, we are talking about the provisions voiced in joint statements on Karabakh settlement by the Presidents of Russia, the United States and France. They are well known. Without rejecting in general this basis, the parties differently see the sequence of the implementation of its components. We are not talking about changing or proposing any new plans that fundamentally change the scheme developed by the co-chairs,” Minister said in an interview with Azeri-Press agency quoted by the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

He stressed that the main thing is to help the parties to find a balanced political solution that will allow them to start preparing legally binding documents.
