YEREVAN. - Proxies of Yelk (Way Out) bloc were subjected to armed assault in Yerevan’s Southwestern district late Friday evening.

Deputy candidate of Yelk bloc, Nikol PAshinyan, who comes third on the proportional candidate list, wrote the aforementioned on his Facebook page. 

“Our guys neutralized the armed person and seized the weapon. I invite the police representatives to our pre-election headquarters,” he noted.

Pashinyan also informed that the assailants have put paint on the poster of his headquarters. Moreover, he posted the photo of the seized weapon.

The press-service of the police told Armenian News – NEWS.am that they are aware of Pashinyan’s statement and the circumstances are currently being ascertained.
