YEREVAN. – International observers will not make any statement today and urge the journalists to wait tomorrow, head of OSCE PA delegation Geir J Bekkevold told reporters.
“But I want to say thanks to the Armenian authorities and the Armenian people for hosting us in a very pleasing way,” he added.
Electoral process is not just about what is happening today, said special coordinator of OSCE PA mission Ignacio Sanchez Amor.
“We have been here from mid February. We have deployed our teams all over the country. We were following the campaign, the media, and any related issue with the election. Tomorrow we are assessing the whole process as a whole,” he added.
The observer emphasized that they are here to have a look at the entire complex of the election reforms.
“The things will not change overnight,” he said, adding that they do hope that the people of Armenia and the authorities conduct the reforms not just to change the electoral frame, not only to change the law.
