YEREVAN. – Armenia's legal framework and Electoral Code are progressive and will have a good future, coordinator of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly observation mission said.
Boleslav Pirshtuk, Deputy Chairman of Belarus parliament, said that their mission saw accurately organized electoral process during Sunday’s parliamentary vote.
According to Pirshtuk, all the conditions necessary for holding the elections were created both for political forces and for voters: “And I think that our Armenian colleagues carried out big work. We congratulate our Armenian colleagues.”
In turn, Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Assembly’s Council, Alexey Sergeyev added that during the whole voting day they did not receive any essential complaints from the political forces participating in parliamentary elections.
The CIS observation mission comprised 172 representatives from eight CIS member states who visited 1,215 precincts throughout the country.
