YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Monday  sent a congratulatory letter to Aleksandar Vučić in connection with the latter’s appointment to the post of the Serbian president.

Sargsyan wished success and new achievements to President-elect Vučić i in this high and responsible position, the press-service of Armenian President’s Office informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Stressing the fact that the centuries-old friendship between the two peoples is based on the historical and cultural commonalities, which serves as a solid basis for further expansion of intergovernmental relations, the Armenian President underscored the importance of cooperation with Serbia both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
