On September 5, 2009 sinking ferry on Ohrid Lake, Macedonia according various sources killed from 17- to 19 people. According to BBC the ferry sank 200km from the lake shore. Majority passengers were Bulgarian tourists. The rescuers saved 53 people.


Presently search operations are conducted to find the bodies of victims. The cause of the tragedy is yet unclear.
