Conduct and statements of the OSCE Minsk Group instigate Azerbaijan to resume hostilities, Major General Arkadiy Ter-Tadevosyan told the journalists today.

Co-Chairs speak of peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict but give the go-ahead to Azerbaijan calling Stepanakert “Hankendi”, he added.

However, Major General rules out possibility of war. “If the war breaks out, Armenia will inflict a heavy defeat to Azerbaijan,” he said.

Ter-Tadevosyan noted that Azerbaijan’s militaristic rhetoric is intended for domestic policy, as society faces religious problem. “Aliyev’s statements on resumption of war are bluff,” he concluded.
