Turkey recognizes territorial integrity of Georgia and intends to hold negotiations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated at the joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze.

Davutoglu informed that today Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister will visit Abkhazia and negotiate with the local authorities on Georgian-Abkhazian conflict settlement. “If there is no stability and peace in Georgia, no stability and peace in Caucasus is expected,” Davutoglu underlined, adding that regional programs of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will contribute to the stability maintenance.
