According to official statistics, Armenia’s GDP grew by 6.5 percent in the first quarter of the current year, as compared with the first quarter of the year past.
As before, trade and services make up about 58 percent of the country’s GDP.
Industry and agriculture amounted to 22.2 and 5․6 percent, respectively.
The fastest growing domain was industry, with 12․4 percent, and trade increased by 5.3 percent.
