YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction of the new Yerevan Council called a meeting at the proposal of Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Also at the proposal of Margaryan, the RPA group members elected the faction leader and secretary, the RPA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
As a result, Sergey Mkrtchyan was unanimously elected as leader, and Suren Nersisyan was unanimously approved as secretary of the RPA faction at capital city Yerevan Council.
