On November 25, the Senate of Kazakhstan ratified an Armenian-Kazakh intergovernmental convention abolishing double taxation and preventing income and property tax avoidance. The Senate also ratified a protocol to the convention.

Thus, as a law, the document will be submitted to the Kazakh President for signing.

This January-July Armenian-Kazakh trade turnover totaled U.S. $4.7 million. Kazakh exports to Armenia totaled U.S. $2.4 million, and imports from Armenia U.S. $2.3 million.
