YEREVAN. -- The UN International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression is observed on June 4, and it also a day when we remember children affected by the April 2016 war, speaker of the Armenian parliament Ara Babloyan said.

“A 12-year old resident of Zoravan village in Karabakh’s Martuni region was killed last year in a shelling during Azerbaijan-initiated military aggression,” Babloyan wrote on Facebook.

He recalled that Vaghinak Grigoryan was killed in the yard of his school, while other two children were wounded.

June 4 is a day when world remembers children victims of aggression, including 12-year-old Vaghinak.

“This day reminds us all that the party orchestrating aggression that claims child's life should not remain unpunished, he said.
