YEREVAN. – Armenia has great development potential in the creative industries’ sector. 

Gregory Tsouris, Deputy Head of Cooperation Section at the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, on Friday stated the aforesaid along the lines of the Creative Armenia Forum.

In his words, the challenges in this domain are similar to those that exist in other domains. But he pointed to the education system as the main challenge. 

Also, Tsouris noted that in recent years they worked toward small business development, and this year they achieved a step forward. 

The EU delegation official added that they are interested in ideas and programs in creative industries.

Furthermore, he noted that even though the respective challenges are known to all, it is noteworthy to also look at relevant ideas from other countries, to see how they can be applied in Armenia.
