YEREVAN. – There are no problems in connection with the export of Armenia’s agricultural products.

Minister of Agriculture Ignati Arakelyan told the aforesaid to reporters at the agricultural market, which opened Saturday in capital city Yerevan.

In his words, exports are going very well and their demand is high.

“They know, love, and await the Armenian product in all EAEU [Eurasian Economic Union] countries,” the minister added. “They just wonder why it is a small amount; that is, our exporters here have a problem of working with the networks there, as to how they will work.

“[But] we at the ministry have a plan on this matter, too; we are discussing [it] with the private [sector], [and] we will introduce [it] when we will be ready.”

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
