US Senator John McCain has been diagnosed with brain cancer, Reuters reported quoting McCain's office.
As it was noted, a brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was removed from McCain. The 80-year-old lawmaker has been recovering at home in Arizona since undergoing surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix last Friday to remove a blood clot from above his left eye.
It was noted that “the senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options. Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.”
