On December 3, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received newly appointed French Ambassador to Armenia Anri Renaux.

The sides discussed expansion of bilateral economic relations, RA governmental press service informed NEWS.am. Tigran Sargsyan and Anri Renaux pointed out perspective cooperation in the fields where French companies are involved, in particular postal services, insurance, energy sector, information technologies, agriculture, wine production, pharmacy and perfume production.

The Ambassador stressed that France is the first European investor in Armenia and the evidence thereof is progress registered in all fields of economic cooperation. Anri Renaux stated that he would do his utmost to strengthen and expand friendly relations with Armenia.
