The Armenian Government has failed to accomplish the tasks set to it, it failed to implement the 22 priority projects incorporated in the coalition memorandum. The President’s election pledges for 2010-2011 have not been fulfilled either, Artsvik Minasyan, an MP of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), told journalists Dec. 17.

“Instead of finding the way out of the situation, in cooperation with the political majority, by implementing an anti-monopoly policy and a policy of improving the population’s living standards, the Government is doing quite the opposite by continuing its anti-social, anti-demographic and anti-competition policy. The 2011 budget is a reflection of all this: it does not ensure either an increase in wages and salaries or promotion of small and medium businesses or equal competition. Armenia is generally believed to be facing an economic management crisis,” Minasyan said.
