Shushi vocational school renovation tender results are summed up in Nagorno-Karabakh. It is planned to transform the vocational school into a national museum. The call for competition was announced by RA and NKR Ministries of Urban Development. Architects from the two Armenian states participated in the contest.

Deputy Minister of Urban Development Artur Manukyan said the best materials of the last two- years’ modern Armenian architecture will be exposed on September 14-21 among them those on renovation of mid XIX century Shushi vocational school. Poll will be available as the exhibition administration is interested in public feedback concerning the presented projects. It is expected that the school renovation works will start in 2009.

The vocational school of Shushi is ranked as Nagorno-Karabakh historic monument.
