The NKR Union of Relatives of Killed Freedom-Fighters issued a strongly-worded statement criticizing the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

According to the Union, the concessions negotiated by the sides are exclusively unilateral ones. In its statement the Union expresses its deep concern over the fact of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) not being involved in the negotiations – the NKR cannot guarantee the fulfillment of commitments laid on it without it being a negotiator. The Union also calls on the NKR authorities “to lift the veil of secrecy and start an open dialogue on the negotiations with the public.”
