YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian received on Saturday Svetlana Askelrod, WHO Assistant Director-General for Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health.
WHO official briefed Sarkissian on the report on prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases in Armenia and possibility of investment. The report considers the causes and problems of noncommunicable diseases and expenditures.
President expressed readiness to support the moves on making healthy lifestyle popular in Armenia.
