The G20 Summit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, will adopt a communiqué making G20 number one world forum to deal with global economic problems.
“We designated the G-20 to be the premier forum for our international economic cooperation,” the draft document says.
In the communique, G20 leaders said that they had agreed that emerging economies should have greater voting rights in the IMF.
“We called on the World Bank to play a leading role in responding to problems whose nature requires globally coordinated action, such as climate change and food security,” the document says.
