President Nicos Anastasiades has suffered a fracture of his femur, or thighbone, on this right leg and will undergo surgery, said spokesman Prodromos Prodromou in a written statement on Saturday.
According to the spokesman, Anastasiades suffered the fracture at a mishap in Limassol, AP reported.
The 72-year-old President underwent successful heart surgery in December 2014 for repair of faulty heart valves.
