Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan before leaving the U.S. met with the Turkish community to discuss various issues including Armenia-Turkey normalization, Turkish media informs.
Touching upon regional issues, Erdogan expressed his wish that OSCE Minsk Group would accelerate the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan confrontation in Karabakh peace process, and reach any agreement, as “thereby Armenia-Turkey relations’ settlement will be reached easer.”
“We express our will in solution to the problems with Armenia, and I emphasize this. We are doing so on the basis of Turkish interests, however we will not betray Azerbaijan. There is no other solution,” Turkish PM concluded.
