On April 3, NKR President Bako Sahakyan visited Martakert region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
He met with representatives of Talish village and discussed issues they faced. The President underlined the necessity of ameliorating socioeconomic situation in this village from the viewpoints of both the border zone development and stimulating the repatriation of Artsakh people from abroad.
NKR President also visited construction sites of the hydropower stations being built in the Mataghis settlement and on the
Sahakyan noted the importance of these objects for the country as pivotal components of Artsakh’s energy security.
The President gave concrete instructions to heads of corresponding structures for proper realization of the activities, NKR presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
NKR Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
