Starting September 29, 2009 Turkish Public Workers' Labor Union Kamu-Sen uniting various strata of the society will collect signatures against RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s arrival in Bursa.

Other Turkish and Azerbaijani organizations help Kamu-Sen to collect the signatures. The Union representative to Bursa Selchuk Turkoglu stated that Serzh Sargsyan was invited to the football match between the national teams of the two countries, however he turned the invitation into a matter of blackmail and demanded opening Armenia-Turkey border on the threshold of his arrival. According to Turkoglu, Turkey is a large country and should not yield to blackmail of small Armenia. They intend to collect 50.000 signatures within three days to send to Turkish Parliament, Turkoglu outlined.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, the return match between Armenian and Turkish national teams had to take place in Kayseri, where 250.000 signatures against the event and opening of Armenia-Turkey border were collected. However, one of the football organizations declared that is ready to meet and honor Armenian football players in their houses.
