A 1.2% rise in the prices on the nonfood market was registered in Armenia this September against this August. The prices for petrol and diesel fuel rose 2.8% and 3.7% respectively.

The RA Statistical Service reported a fall in the price for petrol and diesel fuel this September as compared with last September – 13.2% and 27.7% respectively. The prices for petrol and diesel fuel rose 22.4% and 4.6% respectively this September as compared with last December.

This September as compared with this August the prices for a number of product items changed as follows: medicines, a 0.1% price rise; cosmetics, 0.1% rise; carpeting, 0.2% rise; furniture, 0.3% rise; kitchen utensils, 0.3%; gardening implements, 0.4% rise; jewelry, 0.6% rise; clothing and knitted wear, 1.1% rise; building materials, 2.4% rise; stationery, 2.7% rise; footwear, 5.6% rise; personal products, 3.6% rise.

In Yerevan, a 1.4% rise in the prices for nonfood products was registered.
