On 7 July, 2009 the Former RA President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the leader of opposition ANC, met with the Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Aid Gunter Nooke and Charge d'Affaires of Germany in Armenia Melanie Moltmann.

The parties discussed issues on democracy and human rights in Armenia. They particularly discussed the release of political prisoners, freedom of speech and assembly, as well as re-launch of “A1+” TV channel. The Armenian National Congress MPs Levon Zurabyan and David Shahnazaryan participated in the meeting.
