Armenian national team defeated Azerbaijani 2.5:1.5 in the 8th round of the U16 World Chess Olympiad in Akhisar (Turkey). Ter-Sahakyan, Agasaryan and Petrosyan ended their matches in a draw, while Hayk Vardanyan managed to gain an additional point for the team.
Armenian team has 20.5 points and takes the third place. Indian and Russian teams top the standings, having 22.5 points each.
