Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about Armenian-Turkish relations’ normalization at the conference of Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Ankara. During his speech the Prime Minister touched upon a number of regional issues and expressed readiness to solve all Turkish problems according to his lights.
“All problems of Turks, Kurds and ethnic minorities are my problems. The problem of each citizen is my personal one,” Erdogan said.
Turkish Prime Minister skipped the passage in his speech that was criticizing oppositional Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP).
“We strive to establish good relations with neighbours. Our recent initiative is to restore relations with Armenia. We are against the attempts to use reconciliation as an instrument in foreign policy,” he underlined.
The President Abdullah Gul did not participate, but conveyed a message to the participants.
