Harutyun Arakelyan, the leader of Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, stated that the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan is responsible for the explosion at Nairit factory leading to 4 people’s death.

He substantiated his statement by the fact, that even though the Government holds 10% of Nairit shares, he suspects the Prime Minister and his brother to be the owners of “Nairit” factory, emphasizing that the Prime Minister’s brother holds the Deputy Director post.

Although the factory does not meet its financial liabilities, it is budgetary subsidized, which proves close connection of Sargsyan with the factory management.
Arakelyan stated that the Democratic Liberal Party directed several inquiries to the Government concerning the factory, but so far did not get any response.
