The state salary rate will be increased starting January, 2010 in Turkey, Timeturk website reports.
Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek stated that the wages of public servants will raise starting January 1, 2010.
Presently, the minimum wage in Turkey totals the amount equivalent to AMD 300 000, NEWS.am reports. The teacher gets about AMD 400 000/month, the Government officers — AMD 1.2m, whereas Turkish Ministers — AMD 3m.
