Today a large blast struck the Afghan capital Kabul, killing at least sixth people, dozens are wounded. The explosion occurred near the Interior Ministry and the Indian Embassy, The New York Times reports. “The bomb left a crater and debris around the area, with bodies scattered around the site,” the daily reads.
There have been a number of attacks in recent months. In September, 2009 a suicide bomber killed six Italian soldiers.
