Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will discuss Karabakh issue in Chisinau, said RF Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the closing of CIS Foreign Ministers' Summit in the capital of Moldova, Vesti TV reports.

“Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet in Chisinau today. They agreed to have another meeting through Russia's mediation on the sidelines of CIS summit. The Karabakh conflict settlement is on the agenda,” declared Lavrov.

In addition, the Foreign Minister reminded that Russia as OSCE MG Co-Chair state actively promotes Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement. “Our efforts have understanding and support of all negotiators, first of all Armenia and Azerbaijan. Previous meetings had although minor but certain results, that assisted the go-ahead,” pointed out Lavrov.

ITAR-TASS informs that Lavrov denied any linkage of Azerbaijan-Armenia consultations with Armenia-Turkey relations' normalization.
