Switzerland regrets such an outcome of the Armenia-Turkey reconciliation and wants the Protocols to be ratified as soon as possible. Switzerland is ready to render further assistance to the process. Switzerland is mediating the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation. The Armenian and Turkish Foreign Ministers, Edward Nalbandian and Ahmet Davutoglu, signed the Protocols on establishment of bilateral relations in Zurich last October. Armenia suspended ratification the Protocols on April 12, 2010, condemning Turkey of setting preconditions.
