The Heritage Party will meet with PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu, as politics is not a sphere where one can chose a company, Larisa Alaverdyan, an MP of the Heritage Party, told a press conference, clarifying the party’s stance on such a meeting.

Alaverdyan gave assurances that the party will present its attitude to Cavusoglu at the forthcoming meeting. She also noted that Turkey’s keen interest in getting the Nagorno-Karabakh problem put on the PACE agenda testifies to Armenia’s inactivity.

Mevlut Cavusoglu is arriving on a two-day working visit to Armenia on May 12. Rumors say he changed the format of his visit (from official to working) so as not to visit the Memorial to Armenian Genocide victims.

Therefore, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun refused to meet with PACE President.
