PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu called on the Armenian public to respect his decision not to visit the Memorial to Armenian Genocide victims.
According to the protocol, the PACE President is not obliged to visit memorials like this. His personal decision should be respected, Cavusoglu stated at a press conference in Yerevan. He also reminded the journalists that his predecessors did not visit the Memorial either.
