Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received Czech Premier Jan Fischer who arrived on an official visit to Armenia.

Karekin II welcomed the guest and presented him centuries-old history of the Armenian Apostolic Church and its present mission, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin press service informed NEWS.am.

The Czech Premier informed His Holiness Karekin II of the details of his visit to Armenia. He stressed the Armenian community’s role in the development of the Czech Republic. He also underlined the importance of Christian values and principles in Europe.
