Armenia failed to overcome the consequences of the global crisis, which can actually be done not in words but in deeds, Artsvik Minasyan, the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial, Credit and Budgetary Affairs, and ARFD parliamentary faction member, told NEWS.am. Commenting on the RA Premier’s statement that the country has overcome crisis and is now recovering, he said that the Government’s program has nothing in common with the real state of affairs in the country.

ARFD member believes most of the governmental programs remain ink on paper. Government offficials’ statements will be considered mere populism until the Armenian population feels positive results of reforms.

Minasyan expressed doubt about the Government’s potential to its pledges. Government members lack courage and realistic view of Armenia’s economy in order to implement their programs, the MP said.

According to media reports, the ARFD and Heritage party intend to demand the Government’s resignation.
