The RA Government did not approve legislative initiatives proposed by a number of MPs and providing honor guard duties near the Memorial to Armenian Genocide victims.
The reason for the Government’s position is that the Armenian legislation reflects the state policy and gaurds of honor at such memorials is not international practice.
