May 24, Armenian delegation headed by RA Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Ghazinyan participated in the informal meeting of EU and Eastern Partnership foreign ministers in Sopot (Poland).

In her address Karine Ghazinyan stressed importance of Armenia-EU association agreement, creation of a free trade zone, as well as gradual lifting of visa requirements, RA Foreign Ministry press service informed NEWS.am.

In the frames of the conference, Deputy FM met with Polish Under-Secretary of State Henryk Litwin and discussed the issues on Armenian-Polish cooperation. The sides touched upon the scheduled visit of Polish FM Radosław Sikorski to Armenia and agreed to accelerate the creation of Armenian-Polish intergovernmental committee. Karine Ghazinyan also held a conversation with EU Commissioner Stefan Fule.
