May 25 morning, RA President Serzh Sargsyan left for a two-day working visit to Brussels. Armenian delegation comprises RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Economy Minister Nerses Yeritsyan.
In Brussels Serzh Sargsyan intends to meet with the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.
He also plans to hold meetings with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and the European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht and European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Olli Rehn.
Meetings with the Chairman of Belgian Senate Armand De Decker and President of the European People’s Party (EPP) Wilfried Martens are scheduled as well.
Serzh Sargsyan will meet with the representatives of Armenian communities of Belgium and Netherlands.
