The Heritage parliamentary faction sent a congratulatory message on the 92nd anniversary of First Armenian Republic.

“Our new state was established at the approaches to Sardarapat, Bash-Aparan and Karakilis as a result of the Armenian nation’s heroic struggle and deeds. The history often taught us cruel but important lessons we did not always learn. The main lesson is that the Armenian nation should always cherish as an apple of its eye its independent statehood in such a tense and hazardous region, and its most significant attributes: national army, national education and science, as well as justice and rule of law based on the equality of citizens. Our third Republic, which gained independence recently, the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), as well as the first independent and the second semi-independent Republics were founded on the small territory of the Armenian plateau, cradle of the Armenian people. This fact makes us mobilize all our efforts, spiritual and physical, to protect the integrity and stability of our two national republics,” says the statement.
